Michelle Smyth

Michelle SmythMichelle has a wealth of teaching experience, spanning over a number of years. Straightforward and encouraging, Michelle has a great rapport with students. She developed her techniques from numerous training courses in different colleges and enormously enjoys sharing her knowledge with other people.

Michelle has passed her Level 7407 teaching course, as well as British Sign Language levels 1 and 2, plus completed NVQ level 3 and is studying for a Professional Diploma in Education at Bolton University. Michelle also has a diploma in Deaf Awareness and Communication Tactics – interestingly, she gained the highest marks out of all the sign language students in the entire college!

Jonathan Raperport

Jonathan RaperportJonathan has many years of experience in website design, scripting and content development and a wealth of knowledge in marketing and research, specialising in media and consultancy. He completed a BA Hons in Interactive Multimedia Communication at Wolverhampton University and has a diploma in Teacher Training, including Deaf Awareness and Communication Tactics.

A natural with British Sign Language, Jonathan fully understands what the deaf world is all about, and is fully aware of the problems that deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people face when making themselves understood.  His positive and passionate approach will encourage you to learn.
