RuDeafAware proudly announce we have developed a partnership with Peter and Mo Jackson’s Deaf bookshop, which is the first and only Deaf bookshop specialising in selling deaf books on the Internet. Peter Jackson is a well known author who is deaf and has written many books on Deaf crime, Deaf history and other subjects. He is still currently the only deaf crime author in the world.
We recommend their bookshop to hearing clients who attend our Deaf Awareness courses. Their website can be found at www.deafbooks.com
April 12th 2007 - We would like to say thank you to the Bolton Lads and Girls Club for booking RuDeafAware to train their staff. Feedback from those who attended the course showed a very high level of satisfaction.
As tutors, RuDeafAware were pleased to receive top marks from the learners for the way we conducted the course. Many thanks go to the Bolton Lads and Girls Club for all their help and cooperation.
March 26th 2007- RuDeafAware are pleased to announce that our Deaf Awareness training course has gained the CACDP qualification. CACDP is a registered charity that is raising standards of communication between deaf and hearing people. Their certificate of qualification is nationally recognised and they are accepted as an Awarding Body by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), who offer a wide range of nationally accredited qualifications in the UK.

January 11th 2007 - We are pleased to announce that we will be working with DEAFSIGN'S Cath Smith - see www.deafsign.com and www.DeafBooks.co.uk – who developed the Let’s Sign series of British Sign Language teaching and learning resources. The materials can be used alone or a course booklets that are used in staff training for public service companies, schools, in the home or in adult education.
Cath will be designing BSL graphics that are specifically intended for public service companies whose staff will participate in our Deaf Awareness courses. This is a good step towards raising the standard of our instructional literature, using quality BSL graphic images to assist students.
March 1st 2007 - We are working with Richard Lynch and Elaine Willcox of Lynch Willcox Communications to promote our course to organisations whose staff deal with members of the public. Richard and Elaine help clients to improve the way they communicate with their customers and prospective customers. Richard is a chartered marketer with 20 years’ sales and marketing experience and Elaine is a TV reporter with ITN and Granada. Richard and Elaine’s youngest child, James, is also deaf, so they have a strong motivation to help raise deaf awareness amongst people, businesses and public organisations.
March 1st 2007 - We are pleased to announce the launch of RuDeafAware, providing the first ever Four in One Solution Deaf Awareness training course in the UK. We have undertaken research for a year to find the best possible programs, and hope it will be a good learning opportunity and experience for all those taking part.
