April 4th 2008 - We at RuDeafAware now offer media training, working in partnership
with WFA Media.  There will be an opportunity for deaf people to study
on a media course - click here to find out more information.

March 20th 2008 - Our favourite charity, Francophone Africa Deaf Trust-UK had changed their name to Deaf Education Africa Foundation (D.E.A.F). Their website is www.deafafrica.org.uk.

March 10th 2008 - We are pleased to add a CACDP accredited course to the selection of Deaf Awareness training courses that we run; please click here for more information.

March 5th 2008 - Successfully completed Deaf Awareness Training course with EHRC (Equality Human Rights Commission).  See the archives for more details

Feburary 28th 2008 - Attended a successful meeting with our favourite charity, FADT
(Franophone Africa Deaf Trust), in London.  Our plans will go ahead as predicted; look out for more details in the archives.

January 15th 2008 - BDA (British Deaf Association) are keen to promote many people know as possible about their new change back to BDN magazine. Please feel free to download the file here.

January 3rd 2008 - We hope you had a great New Year and hope the year 2008 is a great one for you.

December 17th 2007 - We would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas. We hope that you have enjoyed this year as much as we have and that your Christmas is filled with warmth, light and joy.

November 26th 2007 - We are pleased to launch our new, improved website, which we think looks a lot better and is much easier for people to read. We hope you agree!

November 6th 2007 - The BDA has noticed Jono's monthly blogs on this website and is interested in publishing them in Sign Matters magazine as a regular monthly feature, starting with their December issue. This will get Jono's views out to their readership and make more people aware about the Deaf world. We are pleased that they are enjoying reading our blogs and we look forward to creating them every month for the benefit of the Deaf community.

August 28th 2007 - We had a most successful 6-day training course at the DRC (Disability Rights Commission). Please click here to read all about it in our latest newsletter.

July 30th 2007 - We have launched a professional consultancy service for deaf and non-deaf people. Please click here for more information.

July 16th 2007 - We are pleased to announce that our first BSL Awareness and Introduction to BSL Training Courses will be held at the Knutsford Methodist Church Community Centre, Knutsford, and at The Zone, Northwich.

June 22nd 2007 - We are changing to a new approach. In August, we will be trained by the BDA (British Deaf Association), aiming to teach BSL Awareness, Introduction to BSL and Foundation Level BSL Parts A&B at Community Centres, commencing in September. These courses are not only very useful but a lot of fun to learn, and can help you to understand all the concepts concerning deaf people, including the way they live, deaf history, their culture and sign language. They are for anyone who wants to improve their ability to communicate with deaf people.
