Media Training

RuDeafAware combines knowledge of the deaf community, informal education, training and advocacy together with professional filmmaking and media industry skills. We aim to address any deaf-related issues within any public service or private organisation
We are making every effort to cover the whole of the UK, working with local, regional and national partners in public, private and voluntary enterprises, to develop both short and long term projects. We can produce videos and DVDs including subtitles, British Sign Language and other specifications as required.
RuDeafAware is working in a long term partnership with WFA Media and Cultural Centre, regarded as one of the best known film schools in the UK, to develop our filming, editing and pre and post production services.
WFA Media wants to encourage more deaf people into the media world, which could potentially lead to deaf people working in a wide range of media industries. You can find out more at www.wfamedia.co.uk
RuDeafAware and WFA are providing media technologies training for deaf participants. So, if you are interested in learning about the media and you come from the North West of England, you are welcome to apply for the course – click below for information.
